Inspiration

Is in the last place you thought you found it?
It's something you find when you least expect it.
It was something you saw and were reminded of it.
You know what it is and respect it.
It's a flower on the side of the road and you picked them,
Or the first of life form in spring,
Or the last leaf to fall in Autumn,
or waiting for the phone tol ring.
That look you got from a stranger you just met.
Or a big hug from an old friend.
Saying things you'll never regret,
or coming to another year's end.
Sometimes it comes in out of the clear blue,
or from watching a fire until dawn.
Sometimes it comes from inside you.,
or from a tiny kitten's yawn.
For some people it comes from a God kid.
For others it's art.
Some people will never get it.
For some it's from a broken heart.
For some a full moon will do,
for others a prayer
For some it's a painting a child drew,
and for others a scare.
I hope you find your inspiration someway,
That's a double dare.
